Solutions for FORMULAS FOR DYNAMICS, ACOUSTIC, AND VIBRATION

FFDAV is a interactive graphical program that computes solutions from the book Formulas for Dynamics, Acoustics, and Vibration, published by Wiley, 2016. Cases are interactively chosen from a graphics menu. Solutions are computed numerically for natural frequency of spring-mass systems, beams, plates a shell and acoustic cavities, dynamics of particles and bodies, acoustics, forced vibration and many more dynamic and acoustic problems.

Software HEATEX 3.0

HEATEX 3.0 is an interactive graphical program that computes the flow induced vibration of tube and shell heat exchangers. It is based, in part on the book Flow-Induced Vibration, second edtion, published by Krieger publishing and available on Amazon-see books page of this website. The calculations are made for acoustic resonance, tube natural frequencies, and critical velocity for onset of fluid elastic instability. The fluid elastic instability calculation is per ASME code Section iii, appendix N.
